CHAIRMAN – David Fuller

David is the founder and owner of the Nepean Group. Nepean Group has grown from 2 employees in 1974 to be Australia’s largest privately owned mining, manufacturing and engineering company in the southern hemisphere. David is an engineer with 50 years of experience.

The Nepean group is an international company, with a global footprint – with 950 employees working in 11 countries.

David is a successful entrepreneur with a diversified portfolio in farming, commercial property, residential subdivisions and the resource sector. David’s understanding of operations in mining has resulted in him deploying capital to launch a number of mining companies in Australia and PNG. David was the initial investor launching – Sydney Gas (which was sold to AGL), Anzon Energy (which was sold to ROC ), Sunshine Gas (sold to Shell British Gas ), Papua Petroleum (ASX) , Niuminco (ASX Australia and PNG) and Paradise Gold.

David is the Chairman of the Nepean Group.


A graduate geologist who started his career at Shell with a PHD in geology from ANU. Rob spent 9 years at Shell on assignment in Turkey and Oman.

Rob led the Boral/Origin Engery Exploration teams from 1994-2012 participating in oil and gas discoveries in the Bass, Otway, Perth and Surat Basins. Retiring in 2012 from Origin.

Rob previously held an advisory role and a board position with Central Petroleum Ltd and Exoma Energy Ltd.


Suellen Osborne is the Managing Director of the Nepean Investment Division and has a proven track record at managing complex projects. Suellen has developed deep value based opportunities across a number of projects and sectors, with a strong focus on risk mitigation plus active asset management.

Suellen’s ability to maintain trusted relationships with shareholders, joint venture partners and authorities is her primary strength.

She has built a track record in developing assets with a total security and/or end project value of more than $200million.

Suellen manages a range of mandates including investment funds and private capital for the shareholders of Nepean. Suellen’s experience is in equity joint ventures, resource company development, property development, construction and project management.

Suellen has a BA Communications. She was Miss Australia in 1998. She serves as a director on the boards of Nepean, Victoria Park Investments, Austwide Property Fund, Amorata Pty Ltd and OilCorp.

DIRECTOR – Thomas Northcott

Tom is the CEO and founder of OilCorp. OilCorp is a privately owned Australian company with  large oil shale holdings and a bulk fuel distribution and diesel truck stop business. OilCorp’s oil shale projects are three of the largest oil shale resources in Australia and one of the largest privately owned in the world with estimated resources of 7.23 billion barrels of oil

OilCorp is an integrated oil company supplying petroleum and lubricants, servicing businesses throughout Australia.

Tom has a Bachelor and Master of Laws (Mining and Energy). Tom also serves as a Director on the boards of Rockland Resources and Austpec Holdings.

DIRECTOR – Miles Fuller

Miles is the CEO of the Nepean Group.

Miles is also the Chief Executive Officer of Nepean’ Mining.

Nepean Mining consults world-wide to mining and exploration companies on mine establishment and optimization. Supporting the Australian and African mining industry for over 40 years,

Nepean Mining’s expertise includes turnkey conveyor systems, complete longwall mining systems, electrical and control systems.

Nepean Mining is the chosen partner for high value, innovative and sustainable solutions for the world’s leading mining companies. Capabilities include design, manufacture, installation, service support, operational optimisation and life cycle management of underground and overland equipment and infrastructure.

Miles is a graduate of the Harvard Business School of Management, is a member of the Young Presidents Organization, “YPO” Sydney Chapter.

Miles serves as an executive director of all Nepean companies and a nonexecutive director of Austmine.
